Box Score vs. Belmont Abbey

BELMONT, NC - Belmont Abbey College shut Chowan out of goal for 90 minutes en route to a 2-0 win over the visiting Hawks. The Hawks failed to get off a shot in the match and now fall to 2-2 overall on the year. Belmont Abbey improves to 2-0-2 on the year after today's match.

Belmont Abbey scored their first goal of the match in the 23rd minute when Danielle Kubinski headed a ball near post. After taking a 1-0 lead over Chowan into halftime, they scored another unanswered goal in the 84th minute when Amanda Maddock made good on a shot from the top of the box.

The Hawks will travel to Pfeiffer University next Wednesday in their next outing. That match is set for 2:00pm.
