PEMBROKE, NC - The volleyball team slipped to 11-7 on the year after dropping two matches at a UNC-Pembroke Tri-Match. The Hawks dropped matches to Augusta State College (GA) and UNC-Pembroke, both in straight sets.

The Hawks were paced by Desaray Turner in their final match of the day  with UNC-P after she tallied 12 kills and 15 digs. Melissa Hallam had 31 assists and 18 digs in the loss.

The Hawks will travel to Elizabeth City State on September 30th in their next match up.  They will return home on Friday, October 3rd for a tri-match with Virginia State and North Greenville University.
