Box scores vs. Shaw

RALEIGH, NC - The Hawks out hit the Bears 37 to 11 on their way to a 3-0 straight set victory over Shaw University this evening. Chowan has won their last five matches in a row and runs their overall record to 11-5 on the year after tonight's win.

Adrian Cook paced the Hawks offensively with 10 kills in 13 attempts while Desaray Turner had seven kills. Turner also had six aces and six digs in the match. Setter Melissa Hallam set up 31 assists and also had six aces.

The Hawks will travel to UNC-Pembroke for a tri-match on Saturday with UNC-Pembroke and Augusta State College, both Peach Belt Members.
