ETTRICK, VA - The women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision at Virginia State University on Friday afternoon. The team has been held winless since they beat North Carolina Wesleyan College on February 25th.

Friday's loss drops the Hawks to 1-9 on the season. Chowan won just five games as a team in the match.

The team has two remaining matches on the schedule for 2008 with VSU making an appearance on Tuesday, April 8th. They wrap up the season at NC Wesleyan on April 15th.
