MURFREESBORO - The men's tennis team beat Virginia Wesleyan College 6-3 in an afternoon dual match. Today's win marks the team's second of the season. Chowan won four out of six singles matches and took two out of the three matches on the doubles side.

#2 Mike Fencil beat VWC's Tom Popomaronis 6-3 and 6-1 while #3 Rich Abolins beat Devin Crosby handedly 6-0, 6-1. #3 Adam Moneypenny and #5 Jonathan Walker picked up wins to round out the singles match wins. Darik Gilman and Abolins paired up to take the #1 doubles match while Moneypenny and Walker won the #2 doubles match 8-4.
