Box Scores vs. Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE - The men's basketball team fell to 11-13 on the year after dropping a road game to #18 Mount Olive College 77-54. The Trojans posted a 20-0 run late in the first period to get ahead of the Hawks and maintain that lead for the remainder of the game.

The Hawks were paced by seniors Montino Williams and Roderick Ramsay who scored 11 and 10 points respectively. Ramsay also had seven rebounds in the loss.

Chowan shot 40% (21-53) from the floor while Mount Olive hit 44% (27-62) of their shots taken, including 10 three-pointers to Chowan's two three pointers made in the game.

Chowan will travel to North Carolina Central University Saturday in their next hard court match up. Tip off is set for 4:00pm.
