Box Scores vs. Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE - One week after beating Mount Olive at home, the hot handed Hawks picked up a victory on the road against the Trojans, leveling their overall record at 5-5. Chowan cruised to a 74-62 win, their third win in a row. Chowan shot 56% (25-45) from the floor in the game including hitting 10 three-pointers, their highest total of the season.

In the Hawks' five wins this season they have shot over 50% from the field, and tonight was no different as they continued with one of their stellar shooting performances. They totaled 10 three pointers in 22 attempts on the night and had three players net double figures. Charles Rhodes scored a team-high 20 points and hit 4-6 from three point land. The sophomore grabbed five boards and dished ot four assists in the win. Aaron Scott continued to score off the bench for Chowan as he scored 18 points in the win. Mark Brown also was in double figures with 17 points. Brown was 4-6 from beyond the three point arch.

The Hawks held Mount Olive to 39% from the field while Kendrick Easley had a game-high 29 points.

Chowan wins their third game in a row tonight and will host Cheney University (PA) on Saturday. Tip off for that game is slated for 2:00pm.
