Volleyball Falls in Tough Fought Match

Season Comes to an End after Falling 3-2 to SWU

CENTRAL, SC - The volleyball team's season came to an end this afternoon after falling in a tough fought match to #1 Southern Wesleyan in the NCCAA South Region Championship match. It took five sets and came down to the wire but SWU edged the Hawks in the 5th set.

The Hawks won the first two sets 27-25 and 25-21 but dropped the next three sets 18-25, 21-25, and 13-15. Chowan was led by Antoinette McCollough who had 22 kills in the loss. Melissa Hallam tallied 44 assistsand Nicole Shoup had a team-high 27 digs.

The Hawks close out the season at 22-12.
