Box Scores vs. Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE - The women's basketball team dropped to 0-3 on the year after a 75-48 loss on the road against Mount Olive College this evening. Chowan managed just 19 first half points and committed 30 turnovers in the game.

Chowan has been led by freshmen scorers in their last three outings. Tonight Ransheda Jennings had a team-high 11 points on a 5-7 shooting performance. She also tallied two steals and three assists. AJ O'Banion scored eight points and Brittany Nicholson chipped in seven points.

The Hawks shot 42% (18-43) from the floor but hit on one of seven attempts from the three point arch. Mount Olive converted 30 Hawks' turnovers into 21 points and shot 45% (27-60), including draining eight three pointers.

Chowan will travel to Frances Marion University for a 2:00pm match up on Saturday. They will host Virginia State University on Monday, November 24th in their home season debut.
