MURFREESBORO - The men's soccer team dropped their final match of the 2008 season to the University of the District of Columbia with a final match score of 5-1. The Hawks scored a goal in the match after being shut out 16 matches this season.

UDC took a 3-0 lead into half time. Chowan scored an own goal to give them a 4-0 lead at the 57:21 mark of the match. Just :30 later, UDC added their fifth score. Chowan answered in the 79th minute when Raymond Kwarteng scored a goal on an assist from Isidro Lopez. Kwartneng's goal came too late as they Hawk's couldn't recover from the early deficit.

Chowan ends the season at 0-20. UDC improves to 4-9-2 on the year.
