MURFREESBORO - The volleyball team posted their 12th win of the season after beating North Greenville University in straight sets this afternoon. The Hawks won with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, and 25-20. They will host Virginia State later tonight to round out the tri-match.

Chowan has two players with double digit kills in Desaray Turner who turned in 12 kills and Victoria Lewis who tallied 10 kills. Adrian Cook and Antoinette McCollough had nine and eight kills respectively. Chowan's setter Melissa Hallam set up 38 assists in the match.

Chowan runs their overall record to 12-8 on the year after the win.
