Box Scores vs. Coker

HARTSVILLE, SC - The men's soccer team fell to 0-18 on the season after dropping a 4-0 decision at Coker College on Wednesday afternoon. The Cobras improve to 5-10-2 on the year after the match. Chowan got off four shots on the day while Coker tallied 23 team shots.

Coker got the scoring started when Marc Mergena made an unassisted goal from about 18 yards out in the 9th minute. Just before halftime, Don Jackson took a corner kick from Beeze Chastain and stuck it near post for a 2-0 lead. Coker went on to add two more goals to take the win 4-0.

For Chowan Isidro Lopez had two shots while Josh Cenci had four saves in goal. The Hawks have two matches remaining in the season. They will travel to to UNC-Pembroke on October 29th in thier next outing.
