Box Scores vs. NC Wesleyan

ROCKY MOUNT, NC - The volleyball team dropped to 17-9 on the year after dropping a five set match to North Carolina Wesleyan College on the road this evening. The Hawks lost the first set of the match narrowly at 25-23 and bounced back to take set two with a score of 25-22. Set three went to the Bishops at 25-18 but Chowan forced the 5th set by winning set four 25-20.

The Hawks dropped the final set 15-10 to lose the match. NC Wesleyan improves to 21-6 after the win. Antoinette McCollough paced the Hawks with 16 kills while Tori Lewis and Desaray Turner each had nine kills in the match. Nicole Shoup had a match high 20 digs and setter Melissa Hallam has 42 assists.

The Hawks will host Elizabeth City State University on Thursday in a 6:00pm match.
