Box Scores vs. Peace College

RALEIGH - The volleyball team had 52 kills in a straight games victory at Peace College this evening. Tonight's win moves the Hawks to 13-5 overall. After battling with the Pacers in the first game, the Hawks breezed through games two and three to win with final game scores of 36-30, 30-18, and 30-28.

Three Chowan players tallied double digit kills with sophomore Jazmin Orozco leading the way with 15 kills of her own. Adrian Cook and Antoinette McCollough had 12 kills each in the match win. Stacey Davis continued with her record setting season with 47 assists while Nicole Shoup had 18 digs and five service aces.

Chowan will host the 1st Annual Janet Collins Invitational this Friday and Saturday. The six team tournament will feature Allen University, Southern Virginia University, Ohio Valley University, St. Augustines College, and Fayetteville State University. The Tournament Pairings will be released tomorrow.
