ETTRICK, VA - The volleyball team beat Virginia State in three straight games tonight to extend their win streak to eight straight matches. The Hawks took the games with scores of 30-24, 30-18, and 30-25 to move to 10-2 on the season.

Freshman duo Kristen Stroud and Antoinette McCollough continued their attacks at the net with 11 and 10 kills respectively. They each tallied two solo blocks in the match. Stacey Davis tallied 34 assists and 3 aces in the win while Nicole Shoup had 21 digs to go with three aces.

The Hawks will host Meredith College on Sunday, September 16th at 1:00 p.m. in their next match up.
