Box Scores vs. Catawba

SALISBURY, NC - Despite having three players score in double-figures, the men's basketball team fell to Catawba College with a final score of 84-67 in the first game of the Walt Baker Classic hosted by Catawba College.

With the game close in the first period of play, the Indians went on a 15-2 run with just over seven minutes to play to take a 39-32 lead into halftime. Catawba got up by as many as twenty-seven points in the second half to take control of the game.

For Chowan Lando Morrison scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds while Aaron Scott came off the bench to score 16 points.

The Hawks will play Mars Hill College tomorrow at 2:00pm in the second game of the Walt Baker Classic.
