CHATTANOOGA, TN - The volleyball team lost in the championship match of the NCCAA South Region Tournament in straight games to #1 Palm Beach Atlantic University. The Hawks lost 30-12, 30-24, and 30-18 to finish 2nd in the tournament.

Antoinette McCollough and Kristen Stroud paced the Hawks attack with nine kills and two blocks each. Both were named to the NCCAA All South Region Tournament team for their two match performance this weekend. Stacey Davis had 20 assists in the 5 aces in today's loss.

McCollough along with Davis were both named to the NCCAA All South Region First Team for their 2007 season performances. Both are now new record holders in their respective positions. Nicole Shoup was named to the NCCAA All South Region Second Team for her performance this season. She also set new marks this season for aces and digs.
