Box Scores vs. NC Wesleyan

ROCKY MOUNT - The women's basketball team suffered a 48-46 defeat at North Carolina Wesleyan this afternoon, dropping them to 1-3 on the season. Chowan shot just 37% from the floor, making just 18 of 48 shots and one made three point basket in 11 attempts.

All tied at 19-19 after one period of play, the Bishops held on to edge out the visiting Hawks,although they did not post big numbers offensively. NC Wesleyan made just 18-56 shots from the floor and were also 1-11 from beyond the three-point arch.

AJ O'Bannion and Keyon Sellers both had double-digit scoring outings in the loss. O'Bannion scored 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had two blocks. Sellers had 10 points and six rebounds.

Chowan will host Morris College in their season home opener on Tuesday, November 27th. Morris College is a small NAIA school located in South Carolina.
