Box Scores vs. Seton Hill

GREENSBURG, PA - The Hawks fell to 1-1 on the year after suffering a 60-41 loss to host-team Seton Hill University this afternoon in the championship game of the Seton Hill Invitational. The Hawks beat St. Vincent College to advance to the finals while SHU beat PSU Greater Allegheny to get to the game.

Chowan couldn't overcome a fourteen point halftime deficit after shooting 29% from the floor in the second half and just 34% from the floor in the game. For Chowan, AJ O'Bannion scored a team-high 17 points while Brittany Nicholson had seven points and seven rebounds. Both players were named to the SHU Invitational All Tournament Team after turning in two solid games for the Hawks.

Chowan will travel to Virginia State University on Tuesday in their next match up. They will make their home season debut on November 27th against Morris College (SC). Tip off for that game is at 5:30pm.
