MURFREESBORO-  The Hawks improved to 25-10 on the season with a three game sweep of Barton.  Tonight, the Hawks avenged an earlier season 3-1 loss to Barton. 

The Hawks and Bulldogs played three competitive games, however, Chowan came out on top each game winning 30-22, 30-27, and 30-23.  The Hawks power game was paced once again by Antoinette McCollough who had 11 kills and Kristen Stroud who had 10 kills.  Stacey Davis also had another stellar game with 29 assists while Nicole Shoup paced the Hawks with 10 digs.

Tonight's game ended the regular season for the Hawks, however, Chowan will now travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee for the NCCAA South Region Tournament.  The Hawks begin tournament play at 3:00 PM on Friday when they face Pensacola Christian.
