ST. MARYS CITY, MD - The volleyball team picked up two wins tonight in their first day of play at the St. Mary's College Seahawk Invitational. Tonight's wins moves Chowan to 22-9 on the year.

The Hawks played Eastern Mennonite in their first match of the day, winning with a final match score of 3-1. Chowan lost the first game 30-27 but bounced back to win the next three games with scores of 30-20, 30-28, and 30-22.

Match two paired the Hawks against John Jay University where they won in straight games with final scores of 30-10, 30-21, and 30-22.
