Box Score vs. Greensboro

MURFREESBORO - The men's soccer team fell to 2-16 overall on the year after being shut out against the visiting Greensboro College Pride this afternoon. The Pride got off 36 shots in the match, scoring 12 unanswered goals for the 12-0 win over the homestanding Hawks.

Greensboro started the scoring in the 21st minute when Ben Norman scored an unassisted goal to go up 1-0. The Pride went on to score eleven more goals for the 12-0 win. Chowan had just two shots in the match, one by Alex Kinnon and the other by Ali Abdi.

Chowan has just two matches remaining on their 2007 schedule, both are at home. They will hit the field again next Wednesday as they host UNC-Pembroke at 4:00pm. They wrap up the regular season with Lees-McRae at home on October 27th.
