MURFREESBORO - The women's soccer team improved to 3-5 overall after blasting Bluefield College 9-0 this afternoon. The Braves struck early and often in the win, scoring their first goal just :53 into the match. 

Lisa Knieriemen scored a hat-trick with three goals while also getting one assist. Kermethia Abernathy netted two goals and had two assists in the win. Four other Braves scored goals in the match. 

Chowan will host Converse College next Saturday at 4:00pm in their next match.
