MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University Department of Athletics announced plans today for the 3rd Annual Fall Sports Community Night. The event is set for Thursday, August 19th at 6:00pm on the upper athletic practice fields on the campus of Chowan University.  ESPN's Talkin' Sports' Gattis Hodges will be on hand for a live remote show. He will interview coaches and players and preview the upcoming sports seasons at Chowan. All four of CU's fall sports teams will offer free mini-clinics and games to all participants. The event is free to all members of the community and includes music, food, face painting, and an opportunity to meet and greet CU coaches,staff, and student-athletes.

The 3rd Annual Fall Sports Community Night will be hosted on the upper practice fields, located behind the Helms Center. Parking will be available in the Helms Center and Hawkins Field lots.
