Garrison Stadium is home to the Hawks football team. Over the fifty-plus years that the school has competed in football, the team has called this area of campus home. In the Sixties college administrators spearheaded a campaign to create a stadium where the football team could participate and practice. Over the years the stadium has taken shape and now offers a solid playing surface for the team. The stadium houses up to 5,000 fans and boasts a nicely furnished press box that features box seating.

In July of 2007,with the help of some special donors, the football field underwent extensive improvements with the addition of field lights, new perimeter fencing, and upgrades to the Bermuda grass field. Plans are in the works for future renovations which will include  home and visitor locker rooms, a player weight room, a player lounge, and coaches offices.  This new facilty will overlook the majestic Lake Vann.
