The Compliance Office is committed to supporting the Department of Athletics in maintaining the highest standards of institutional control as required by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As an NCAA Division II institution, Chowan University is responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations that govern intercollegiate athletics participation across its 22 varsity sports programs.
The Chowan University Athletics Compliance Office is dedicated to educating administrators, boosters, coaches, faculty, staff, and student-athletes on the policies, procedures, and guidelines necessary to ensure compliance with NCAA regulations.
