SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Golf team finished the 2024 Conference Carolinas Golf Championship on a high note shooting the lowest postseason round in program history on Tuesday.

Chowan would shoot 283 (-5) to tie the postseason program record and only the second time the program has shot under-par in the postseason, last time was the second round of the 2012 CIAA Championship (Fort Lee, Va. – Cardinal GC).
The Hawks concluded the final round with the third lowest round of the day behind Barton (-12) and King (-11).
Mika Buchholtz led the Hawks with the second lowest postseason round in program history with a three-under 69. Buchholtz posted three birdies in the opening nine holes and four birdies on the final nine before getting tripped up on his final hole after getting to -4. Buchholtz finished t-21 in the tournament.
Matthew Herberger closed out the tournament with a two-under 70 after getting to -4 before finishing up the round with a pair of bogeys. Herberger picked up two birdies in the first nine holes and made the turn picking up four more birdies. Herberger would finish t-15 in the tournament.
Tyler Darnell finished the tournament on a high note shooting even-par in the final round with 16 pars and one birdie. Bjoern Holt finished the day even-par with 12 pars and three birdies. Darnell and Holt's even-par scoring is tied for ninth best in program history in postseason history.
Jaxon Eck concluded his Chowan playing career with an 81 picking up two birdies down the stretch.
