CHARLESTON, WV- The Chowan University volleyball team fell to Mars Hill College in four sets today.  The Hawks fall to 2-3 on the season, and finished this weekend's tournament at the University of Charleston (WV) at 1-3. 

The Hawks took the first set 25-20, but from there it was all about the Lions who went on to win three straight sets by scores of 17-25, 20-25, and 21-25.  

Callie Armistead had 37 assists to today's contest as she led Monica to a team high of 13 kills along with 10 digs for the Hawks.  Karina Monroe turned in another solid match with 11 kills, combined with nine from Nikira Fults.  

Cindy Ehrich added a team high of 20 digs, followed by 12 from Brianna Smith.
