MURFREESBORO - Chowan University Head Golf Coach Ellen Ordnung announced today an addition to the Fall 2010 roster. Brad Kennon, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf at Chowan University under Ordnung. He will join the squad next Fall. 

Kennon will graduate from Grassfield High School in June of this year where he is a stand out member of the varsity golf team. He is a two-time team MVP under coach Bret Lieberman and helped his team to a 2009 District Championship.

"Brad is a talented golfer that has the ability to shoot low rounds. He has a quiet demeanor on the course and handles pressure well so his presence on the Chowan golf team will be felt immediately," said Ordnung. 

Ordnung and the golf team experienced a successful fall season and hope that will carry over to the Spring Championship segment this February. They will compete in the CIAA for the first time this season.
