COLUMBUS, GA - The women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 loss at the hands of Columbus State University at the Columbus State Invitational tonight. CSU not only kept the visiting Hawks out of goal, they kept them from getting off a single shot through 90 minutes.
CSU scored three first half goals and then added three more in the second half to take the 6-0 match. Keeper Kristy Brown got a workout tonight as CSU pounded 38 shots at her, 26 of which were on goal. She picked up 20 stops in the match.
The Hawks move to 1-3 on the season after tonight's match. They will face off against the University of Tampa on Sunday.
