MURFREESBORO - Chowan basketball fans will have the opportunity to help the 2009-10 Hawks basketball teams jumpstart the season on Thursday night. The Chowan University Athletic Department will be hosting the annual "Meet the Hawks" Community Night at Andy's of Murfreesboro. Fans and community will have the opportunity to meet both team's players and coaches.

The event will be webcasted and videocasted @ www.gocuhawks.com and starts at 6:30pm. Andy's of Murfreesboro (Main Street location) will serve a Hawks Special which includes an Andy's Cheeseburger, Fries, and a drink for just $3.99. There will be giveaways and autograph sessions as part of the event.
