STRUTHERS, OH - The baseball team suffered a 5-2 loss to #1 Malone College late Friday night. The game was originally slated to start at 7:00pm but didn't get going until after 9:00pm. Two hours later the Hawks were eliminated after a respectful run at the 2008 NCCAA National Title. Chowan walks away from the tournament after finishing fourth.

#2 Mount Vernon Nazarene will await the winner of Malone and Indiana Wesleyan in the NCCAA World Series Championship game.

The Hawks finished 2-2 overall the tournament with wins over Bethel and Geneva. They fell to the two top seeds, Mount Vernon Nazarene and Malone College.
