LAWRENCEVILLE, VA - On the heels of a tough home loss to Virginia Wesleyan last night, the Hawks blasted St. Paul's College on the road this evening in three straight games. Chowan won with game scores of 30-16, 30-15, and 34-32. Freshman Jazmim Orozco had a match-high 22 kills to help propel her team to victory.

Chowan out hit the Lady Tigers 47 to 18 in the match while they also collected 15 service aces. Christina Johnson tallied a season-high 12 kills to go with 5 service aces while Crystal East collected 26 assists in the win. 

Chowan will host the Vikings of Elizabeth City State on Friday night at 6:00pm. After tonight's win the Hawks move to 4-15 on the year.
