Chowan University Athletics

Hal Henderson hails from Charleston, South Carolina and attended Chowan College from 1978-1980.

Henderson was an All-American Defensive End for the notable Chowan College football team under then coach, Jim Garrison. Henderson was named to an NJCAA All-American Second Team his freshman year in 1978 and followed that up with an NJCAA First Team performance his sophomore season.

Henderson graduated from Chowan in 1980 with an Associate’s Degree in Business.
