MURFREESBORO - Chowan University's Golf Coach, Ellen Ordnung, announced today the signing of four student-athletes who will join the Hawks golf team in the fall. Three out of the four student-athletes represent Virginia while one hails from Florida. All four have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their education and playing careers at Chowan.

FORT LEE, VA – Virginia State University took home the 2010 CIAA Team Golf Championship Friday after firing a final-round 307 to defeat Fayetteville State by nine strokes while Corey Garvey of Chowan University came home with the individual title.The Hawks finished in 3rd place in the team competition. Cliff Forbes shot a 77-71 to finish tied for second place.
