This season features many challenges for the Hawks with Catawba College, USC-Aiken, Lenoir-Rhyne College, Limestone College, and Wingate University all slated to be played at home. The Hawks will also face some grueling road challenges as they will travel to Lees-McRae, Mars Hill, Pfeiffer, and UNC-Pembroke this season.

Chowan will wrap up the regular season with a 1:00pm match with the University of the District of Columbia on November 1st. They finished 2007 with a 2-18 overall record and were led by a core of young players who will all be returning to help lead the way in 2008. Leading the pack of returning players is sophomore Ali Abdi, who eas named to the All-ICAA Team a year ago after turning in eight goals and two assists for 18 points. The Hawks showed solid improvement on their back line and return sophomores Alex Kinnon (pictured above) and Lloyd Danzeisen.
