MURFREESBORO - The turn out for Community Night with the Hawks was a success this weekend as over 75 fans made their way to Garrison Stadium for the first annual event.

Many young Hawks' fans  got to interact with the players and coaches prior to the Blue-White Scrimmage, where they tested their foot speed in the 40-yard dash, ran pass routes, and threw balls to the Chowan wide receiver core.

Following the thirty minute fan interactive experience, the Hawks took the field for their warm ups to gear up for the controlled scrimmage. The scrimmage was the first for the Hawks this season as they enter their second full week of practices in preparation for August 30th and their kick off with Elizabeth City State.

The 7:00pm match up marks the first CIAA game for the Hawks and will be a cross-divisional game as Chowan plays in the Western Division and ECSU plays in the Eastern Division.
