FAIRMONT, WV - The 2009 CIAA Volleyball Champions will make their 2010 season debut this Friday and Saturday at the Fairmont State Falcon Fest in West Virginia. Chowan is scheduled to play four matches in the two-day event. On Friday the Hawks will play West Liberty State University and Point Park University. Match times are scheduled for 1:00pm and 5:00pm respectively. Chowan is set to play Fairmont State at 10:00am to open play on Saturday. They will follow that up with a 2:00pm match against Concord University. 

GREENSBORO - The Chowan University men's soccer program is set to make their season debut this weekend in Greensboro at the Guilford College Invitational. The Hawks will play two matches over two days, opening with host team Guilford College on Saturday, September 4th. Match time is set for 2:00pm Saturday. The Hawks will turn around on Sunday to play Averett University at 12:00pm. After a 1-16 season a year ago, the Hawks are looking to start 2010 with a win. MURFREESBORO - On the heels of a tough 59-10 loss at Lenoir-Rhyne University this past Saturday, Chowan's football team is preparing this week for a road trip to the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. The Bulldogs play in the NCAA DI Southern Conference. Saturday's game is the Bulldogs season opener. Hawks fans can follow all the gridiron action by logging on to the Chowan athletics website and the GAME DAY CENTRAL button. The Citadel's Media Relations Department will offer live stats and live audio of the game. Kick off is slated for 1:00pm at Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston.
